Seva Dhruthi provides rural farmers with support to deploy and/or grow their organic farming practices through partnership with local government and other like-minded farmers.
The current use of industrial pesticides and chemical fertilizers can have long-term detrimental effects to soil health, water quality and unnecessary waste, plant and animal diversity and finally food quality. It can also have drastic effects on human health.
Seva Dhruthi identifies farmers, local leaders and government entities to work with where there is such need for support to make progress towards organic farming
By working with local volunteers and agencies, Seva Dhruthi helps support the health and well-being of the farming community with a goal of providing high quality food and supporting soil and human health.
Currently, most of the support is in India (due to local volunteer relationships) with a goal to scale the operations to more states within India and other countries.
With various checks and balances in place, Seva Dhruthi has appropriate monitoring of progress in the involved programs. We also ensure that the money spent reaches the needy with little to no admin expenses.
